Thoughts on IDW Transformers: The Furman Era

The highs, the lows, Furman's legacy, and, yes... the disaster that is Spotlight: Arcee, and the fact that Furman kinda accidentally made all the Transformers gay.

Scattered thoughts from rewatching Twin Peaks

I rewatched one of my favorite shows of all time and wrote about whether or not I regret skipping half of season 2 on my first watch years ago, Anthony's theories as we were watching, Dougie Jones, and that unforgettable ending.

Reviewing and ranking every Star Trek movie

The TOS movies, the TNG movies, the "Kelvin Timeline" movies, and, yes, even the dreadful new Section 31. My ranking of that last one will shock you. (It won't.)

Cool comics I've been reading, September 2024

Yes, this is primarily an excuse for me to gush about Daniel Warren Johnson's Transformers and Ryan North's Fantastic Four.

Berserk Boy review: Hey, wait a minute...

A decent sidescroller that drove me a little crazy and made me consider where the line between loving homage and shameless copy lies.

A tale of three Triguns

Comparing and contrasting the ways the three versions of the series portray Vash as a character, with both anime adaptations taking the source material in very different directions.

Story time: "Super Kids" and my furry awakening

Reminiscing on some wish fulfillment stories I wrote as a kid, and some creative decisions in them that were funny in hindsight.

Knuckles show review - I derive a sort of sick pleasure from this

When judged purely in terms of its faithfulness as an adaptation of the Sonic games, this is quite possibly the franchise's worst adaptation ever. It's often barely even about Knuckles.

...So then why do I kinda like it?

My Wes Anderson movie rankings

Pretend to act surprised when I give a high ranking to his stop motion furry movie.

My own personal Hell: Thoughts on Hazbin Hotel

Some thoughts on why I didn't particularly enjoy a certain cartoon set in Hell. Just a few.
